AppoinText ("we," "our," or "us") operates appointext.ai and provides AI-powered text messaging and appointment management services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, business name, email, and phone number when signing up or contacting us. We also collect billing information, business details shared during onboarding, and messages you send us. Automatically, we collect log data, device information, and usage data through cookies. When our AI engages with your customers on your behalf, we process their phone numbers, conversation content, and appointment details solely to deliver the Service.
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, configure your AI agent, process payments, send service communications, monitor platform performance, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
You are responsible for ensuring your leads have consented to receive text messages from your business. Recipients can reply STOP at any time to opt out, and all opt-out requests are honored immediately. Conversation data is stored only to deliver your Service and is never used for unrelated purposes. You agree to use AppoinText in compliance with the TCPA and all applicable laws governing text message communications.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your information. We share data only with trusted service providers who help deliver the Service (bound by confidentiality obligations), when required by law, in connection with a business transfer, or with your explicit consent.
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Upon cancellation, personal data is deleted or anonymized within 90 days unless legally required to retain it longer. Conversation and lead data is retained for up to 12 months then permanently deleted.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. You may also request data portability, object to certain processing, or opt out of marketing emails. To exercise these rights, email hello@appointext.ai. We respond within 30 days.
We use industry-standard security including TLS encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission is 100% secure and we encourage use of strong passwords.
We use cookies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and analyze usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.
AppoinText is a business service not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or website notice at least 14 days before taking effect.
